Biz Stone said that he was not interested in selling the largest microblogging network (now Twitter has more than 60 million users). At the same time he admitted that in the future Twitter can go to the stock market and sell stocks to third-party investors. Recent investments in Twitter were $100 millions. These funds belong to a group of investors which includes the Investment Company “Insight Venture Partner”. This resource itself valued at a billion dollars and analysts once assumed that these investments are preparation for the IPO or to sell the resource.

Throughout this year rumors appeared that the big players of online market had been negotiating to buy Twitter. Thus it was argued that Google and Apple were interesting to buy Twitter.
