Biz Stone said that he was not interested in selling the largest microblogging network (now Twitter has more than 60 million users). At the same time he admitted that in the future Twitter can go to the stock market and sell stocks to third-party investors. Recent investments in Twitter were $100 millions. These funds belong to a group of investors which includes the Investment Company “Insight Venture Partner”. This resource itself valued at a billion dollars and analysts once assumed that these investments are preparation for the IPO or to sell the resource.

Throughout this year rumors appeared that the big players of online market had been negotiating to buy Twitter. Thus it was argued that Google and Apple were interesting to buy Twitter.

1) Google is my headache. The last update drove my website into a big “hole”. What was wrong? Nothing. Custom designs, custom content. Domains were more than 1 year. Then it appeared that those websites were jumping everyday. Before p.m. they were on the TOP 5. After p.m. in TOP200 :) Those domains are on local languages and i noticed that it was or still is some kind of geo ip experiment. The search results became different from different geo IPs. Hm.. the jumping process is still continuing. Let’s see.

2) My son (his birthday wasn’t announced here in case of my laziness) is growing up -:) There is a laugh in our house everyday. He is very sympathetic and seems to be sociable. He explores every new thing very deeply. We are really happy and I prove that kids can adore your life giving it more sense.

google-datacenterToday i found some interesting facts about watt-hour energy usage of Google Datacenter in Dalles, state of Oregon, USA which is located on the bank of the river Columbia. This is coordinating datacenter and includes 4 big warehouses with thousands of servers inside.

Datacenter gets the energy from the hydroelectric power station based not far from that place on the Columbia river. Capacity of this powere station is really enormous (1,8 GW). It is greater by 50% than some big atomic power stations in the United Kingdom. This datacenter will start working at full power in 2011 and its capacity will be about 103 MW. For comparison: Newcastle city uses 103 MW for all needs.

In the near future Google will buy the old paper-mill in Finland to build one more datacenter.

1. I’m going to be a father. This is good. I’m really happy!

2. Google amazed and depressed me very often. Currently i got some high positions. This is good.

3. I’m thinking to find a new job abroad. Is SEO/SEM popular in the western Europe?

My local project are popular but i need to promote more and more websites to get more profit. I tested buying old expired domain – you should be very careful; 3way link exchange at webmasters’ forums is good but not constant process; link buying – is good but google punishes domains which sell links. Google doesn’t care about spam in its index… – spam is prospering! PPC – you will lose all your money, seo is much cheaper. Good and fresh unique content is one of the important things now. Hmm.. that’s it for today. See you in some months.
