NVIDIA and Audi announced that the NVIDIA GPUs are now used as a basis for navigation and entertainment systems in all models of Audi in 2010 around the world. The merger of technologies Silicon Valley and the German automotive industry has advanced visual features such as full 3D navigation with advanced driver assistance and safety systems and two-band entertainment system capable of displaying two video simultaneously on different screens.

New in the automotive industry, Vibrante supports two-zone entertainment based on one GPU allowing the rear seat passengers simultaneously watch two different films on two screens.

NVIDIA and Audi also announced partnerships with Google to install Google Earth in the future of 3G MMI-based graphics processor NVIDIA starting with the flagship Audi A8 model in 2011. Google Earth is based on technology from Keyhole – the company which invested NVIDIA and which later was bought by Google. As a result the three-year partnership appeared 3D navigation system with detailed models of areas at high speed, 3D objects and the intuitive interface. Services Google allows drivers to think of the routes at home and then upload them on the trip. Users can also directly search for points of interest with the 3G MMI. This is the first application of Google Earth in the car.
